Stormwater Bylaw & Regulations, EPA Information
The Planning Board is designated as the Town's Stormwater Authority. They uphold and enforce the Town's General Bylaw Chapter 85 NPDES Stormwater Bylaw. Any development disturbing >1.0 acre of land is required to obtain a Stormwater Management Permit from the Stormwater Authority. The Highway Department is authorized to uphold and enforce the Town's General Bylaw Chapter 62 Illicit Discharge Bylaw. This Bylaw prevents illegal connections to any of the Town's stormwater structures.
