Appointments: Bob Therrien

Bills were reviewed and approved.

Correspondence: none.

Bob Therrien attended the meeting to further discuss the gazebo.  The state grant says renovation/restoration of the gazebo.  There is a timeline to have the project completed, June 30, 2023 using the grant funds.  Bob explained that the project could be done in phases. The first phase would be the renovation of the gazebo.  Phase 2 and 3 could be done after which might include such options as increasing space for the band and other enhancements. Bob felt that this project being only 50,000 might not attract many bidders who might be qualified especially if a “no change” order is included.

The Building Inspector agreed with Bob Therrien’s assessment of the gazebo and the work/repairs that need to be done.  The Building Inspector agreed that the structure is sound and that the flooring, wiring, benches are the priories to be renovated. If structure is only being restored ADA may not come into play.

It might be possible to get waivers for the ADA handicap laws if needed.  Another area in which Bob Therrien expertise would prove helpful.

Jerrie would like to involve the trade schools in the project.  The FOB has not started fund raising yet since the group was not sure which direction gazebo plans were going and COVID.

Brain made a motion to send Bob Therrien pro bono scope of work to the BOS to allow Bob to provide architectural Service to the town for the gazebo project.  Tubby second all were in favor motion carried.

The FOB also agreed with the Commissioners on the renovation/restoration and  voted to approved and  submit Bob Therrien’s pro bono scope of work as well.

A memo will be sent to the BOS to accompany the documents from Bob Therrien.

Green Burials was tabled.
