Advanced removal and advanced processing of early voting and vote-by-mail ballots.

In accordance with the provisions Chapter 92 of the Acts of 2022, the Town of Townsend will be advanced opening and advanced depositing early voted ballots at Memorial Hall, 272 Main Street, Townsend at the following sessions:
- Saturday, March 2, 2024 beginning at 9:00 am
Per State requirements, all Vote-by-Mail ballots received after advanced processing, will be processed at the polls.
In accordance with the regulations, no results shall be determined or announced until after the time the polls close on March 5th at 8:00 PM. At that time the results from the advance processed ballots will be added to the election day results and posted in a public place.
Removal of Early Voted ballots and Advanced Depositing is open to the public.
