FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES AND COMMUNITY GROUPS

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) is pleased to announce a new funding opportunity for private, public, and non-profit entities to replace eligible diesel vehicles and equipment with zero emission technologies. Through the federal Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) program, Massachusetts is conducting a competitive electric-only Solicitation with an application deadline of 5 PM August 24, 2022. This is an early replacement program designed to accelerate the retirement of less efficient and more polluting diesel vehicles and equipment. The Massachusetts Service Alliance's Youth Development Volunteer Initiative Youth Development Volunteer Initiative supports youth-serving organizations and programs through its Volunteer Generation Fund. Under this initiative, MSA awards grants up to $10,000 to provide capacity-building opportunities to nonprofits to better engage volunteers in youth development programming by creating, expanding, or replicating promising models.
